Here's another review for the Balm products. I have to say, as much I adore the the Balm Mary-Lou manizer, it is overly in-your-face for a daytime look - unless you're desperate for spotlight. This time around I'm reviewing a much more wearable product - the Balm Hot Mama wooohooo Blush.

As per usually with the Balm, the pigmentation is A***- almost too pigmented, which makes it *slightly* hard to work with. The tiniest amount is needed, which is the bright side as the product is going to last f-o-r-e-v-e-r. It is a usually everyday universally suited pink blush, with fine gold shimmer running through. I do not own the infamous NARS Orgasm blush but judging from the pan they are rather alike. (Although I would prefer to use glitter to describe the particles in Orgasm.) If you dislike shimmer, don't be put off- Once put on the cheeks the shimmers are almost invisible. They in fact provide a subtle highlighting effect, which I'm sure is welcome by the majority.
Here comes the dark side. (everybody's got a dark side~do you love me~can you love mine~) You know me- there's always complaints. This time, its about the packaging. the Balm products aren't drugstore, but the packaging is just.... it just looks cheap. I'm completely fine for it to be cartoony. In fact I love packaging with a bit more fun and colour. But sorry the Balm, the muddy green background just completely ruins the hot mama in the front. (nobody's a picture perfect~ but we're worth it you know we're worth it~) Oh well, I guess nobody has to see the packaging of your makeup products but you, but as a makeup lover and a slight perfectionist, it just bugs me so much to see good quality makeup without good clothing on. Is it just me that think in this way? yea, probably is.(will you love me~ even with my dark side~) Yes, I will. I don't judge a book by it's cover and nobody should. It is a long-lasting, pigmented, pretty pink blush that I think you should definitely check out.(will you love me~ even with my dark side~) *Lyrics of Dark Side by Kelly Clarkson. Check out the song too- its a good song.
I am wrapping my grumbles up with a picture with me and the blush on my face just so you can see how the product looks on face. Oh please ignore the uneven eyelids, funky eyebrows and chapped lips- I promise they have nothing to do with how awesome the blush is.
