ASOS: Shoe Wishlist | The Wishlist

Monday, 21 April 2014

I was very successful at giving up online shopping for lent, until one day the shopaholic nature in me came back. My wallet is undergoing some major surgeries now and it's lost a LOT of blood already thanks to the makeup/skincare tumour.

But the cancer cells don't die easily. They copy themselves a dozen times and the copies travels through the bloodstream to other parts of the body. Eventually, a new tumour forms. Potentially, a shoe one.

Once its formed, the damage inevitable.

Fortunately, I've been able to restrain myself.
(for around 48 hours)

There are sooooo many shoes, for summer winter or all year round, available on ASOS and a few of them are really driving me crazy. How can I not get them !!!? But the reality is, you gotta think about your wallet's feelings, right?

So- I created this wish list. Hopefully, this would help me to make some objective comparisons. And- maybe some of them you would like too!

OMG. Just OMG.
I LOVE THIS PAIR OF SHOES SO MUCH.

My style is rather girly, especially in the summer time when I wear scouts/dresses All The Time.
I tend to wear more colours in summer as well, so a good pair of white sandal would be absolutely perfect. This pair is exactly how I want it to be- White platform sandal, not showing too much skin and just is soooo pretty!!

I remember wearing a not so similar platform sandal all summer in the year before last year from staccato and it became soo worn out that I couldn't wear them any more. I was so upset! This is the trouble with White shoes- they get dirty, really dirty. However, nothing is going to prevent me from buying these- When the next ASOS 20% discount happens, You babys are mine.

I know the whole 'sandals with cut outs' thing is on trend right now, but I'm just not feeling it and... they just don't match my taste. Instead, I find this pair interesting- I can see myself wearing this both in summer and in the winder, with stockings. The only reason that puts me off is that the texture of the material looks rather strange- or nanny shall we say. This pair is made of leather that, if not properly styled with the right clothes, would makes the whole look very old-school - in a bad way.
Ummmmm... What do you think about it?

These 2 pairs are definitely more suitable for the winter time, so I'm not actually urging to get them. But they just seem like the kind of shoes that I would wear again again and again. I don't mind telling you that my shoe taste is rather boring... I like black shoes and almost all my shoes are black, except from a pair of ZARA grey heels and a pair of dark brown UGG. Oh Meredith, when will you take some risks and wear something different?

Out of all the shoes mentioned above, which one is your fav. ?
Let me know!

M x
